  • Registration Date 2017-08-04

The FSA is today publishing a summary of food incidents handled between April and June 2017, where an alert has been issued by the FSA to recall products from sale.

Over the three month period, we issued 33 food notices, of which 23 were allergy alerts, with the top three undeclared allergens being gluten, milk and egg.

We also issued five food alerts relating to possible risk of food poisoning, four relating to physical contamination and one to do with poor food hygiene.

The information published today describes the overall details of the incident, the level of risk to consumers and what action we, industry and local authorities took.

The FSA has collated this data to make it easier for consumers to access incident information.
