○ A notification on Emergency Adjustment Measures for Supply and Demand was enacted and enforced under Article 6 of the Price Stabilization Act to prevent the shortages of filtering respirators and hand sanitizers.
- Producers and distributors of filtering respirators and hand sanitizers should report their daily production and sales, which are done after the 12th of February, to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS). This is to make the production, distribution and sales process of filtering respirators, surgical masks and hand sanitizers transparent, and to eradicate illegal distributions such as hoarding and smuggling.
- These measures will be temporarily carried out, from the 12th of February to the 30th of April.
